The Self Test For Diabetes

Sixteen million Americans have diabetes, yet many are not aware of it. African Americans, Hispanics and Native Americans have a higher rate of developing diabetes during their lifetime. Infections occur mostly during the summer and fall. Most infected people have no disease symptoms at all, but some 10 to 15 million Americans develop either mild upper respiratory cold-like symptoms, flu-like symptoms with fever and muscle aches, or a rash each year.

If Type II Diabetes is common among adults, it is Type I diabetes that haunt the lives of children.  Children with diabetes usually exhibit a number of symptoms such as thirst, weight loss, frequent need to urinate, headaches, abdominal pain, and behavioral problems, among others.
