My best friend give me his second finger-stick meter with 10 samples, and after breakfast my blood sugar was 150. 2 hours later was 120 and trhee hours 96. The next days before meal was between 89 and 105.Is this normal, should i see doctor?

I have a bad anxiety disorder and sometimes get edgy when I skip meals so today when I was at the mall I felt my anxiety levels act up and decided it would be best to eat a pretzel.

I have had my blood sugar tested when I felt like this before and it was around 85 fasting but today when I came home and tested myself the reading was 123 an hour after I ate this. Is this normal?

Is 80 a normal number! i ate about an hour or longer before i took it! I am not a diabetic but it just seems a lil low considering all i ate

I tested my child’s blood sugar level a couple hours after eating the other day and it was 296. About an hour later it was 201. I’ve tested her first thing in the morning yesterday (blood sugar was 118) and today (blood sugar was 128) without eating. Should I call the doctor or just continue to watch her? I should mention she’s got bladder/urinary problems also (spastic bladder).

the meal was eggs and toast for breakfast, but often i feel week and i test myself with a home test kit

my blood sugar level without eating anything is 7.2 is this normal could i be at risk of diabetes?

Ok, I don’t think my question was very clear so I’m asking again a little different.

I bought one of those home Diabetes self testing kits (to see if you might have diabetes). I have never been diagnosed with anything, I take no medications, and this is a one time only test. (I have one extra test that I could retake).

I took the test before eating breakfast. The results was between 75mg/dl & 50 mg/dl (clearly somewhere in the middle) – color matching test. I do not want to take a regular clinic test sinceThe cost is too high and not covered by my insurance. I am self employed and don’t want any negitive results on my medical record. I may want to switch insurance companies in the future.

Which is more accurate?
high risk for gestational diabetes, my doctor said 140 or under after 2 hours is okay. but my dietitian said 130 or under after 1 hour. don’t really know who to listen to.

I failed my 1 hour gestational diabetes test last friday. My level was 146 which isn’t extremely high but high enough they recommended I take the three hour test. I was told that I have to fast the whole morning before the test which concerns me because I become extremely ill when I dont eat. If I eat that morning or drink a caffinated drink will it make me fail the test?
